Manfred Bender (*1965), CEO of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG, Master of Business Administration. After completing his studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen/Friedberg, Manfred Bender began his career at an international company with responsibilities in several business administration areas as well as in IT. In 1998 Manfred Bender became Director of Finance and Controlling at Pfeiffer Vacuum. In 2004 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and in 2007 Chief Executive Officer. Manfred Bender is married and has two children. He spends his leisure time with his family, runs marathons and likes skiing.
Dr. Matthias Wiemer (*1958), Member of the Executive Board of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG, holding a diploma and doctorate degree. He completed his studies in mechanical engineering at the University of Hanover with a diploma and subsequently a doctorate degree. Afterwards, Dr. Matthias Wiemer held management positions in research & development, production and sales for several mechanical engineering/automation companies. In the year 2005 Dr. Matthias Wiemer joined Pfeiffer Vacuum as managing director. Since 2007 he has been member of the Executive Board. Dr. Matthias Wiemer is married and has two children. In his leisure time, he looks after his horses and keeps fit with jogging and playing tennis.
